For blog followers in the Pacific Northwest who read 48° North sailing magazine, you’ve probably noticed a bit of my work appearing in the mag lately. I’ve been providing editing and writing help as “Guest Editor” since the May issue and am excited about how it has turned out and the future of the magazine. If you aren’t able to pick up a free copy somewhere around the Salish Sea, links to the digital versions are below.
In the May issue, starting on page 34, I wrote about one of the most stunning places in British Columbia, Princess Louisa Inlet in “Heaven on Earth.” Click HERE or on the image below to view the digital version.
In June’s Alaska issue, Yahtzee got the cover shot and I shared three of our favorite Southeast Alaska cruising favorites in “Destination Southeast.” Click HERE or on the image and flip to page 38.
July was the offshore issue, which had me sharing how Jill and I prepared Yahtzee to sail offshore and in the Oregon Offshore Race, Swiftsure Race and beyond on page 38. Click HERE or on the image to view.
The August issue is now on news stands and in digital form HERE or by clicking on the image below. In it, I tackle the ins and outs of successfully and efficiently stern-tying your boat in the Pacific Northwest.
We’re working on the September issue now, so stay tuned!
